PD with kawasaki power, I have a question
Friends, between grandchildren, tests at the VA I got a bit of time with my swap. I'll start with only one question and build on that as we go. Looking at the Kawi and with some of the input I've gotten recently here my Kawasaki wiring diagram doesn't show the oil pressure switch which goes to their factory harness plug (which I'm not using). My guess is the function of this is that a lose of oil pressure kills the engine? Which would be grounding out the coils, Correct?? Thanks much

Yep. I have my trim and a fuel pump switch in there as well, but that's all that would be there from the factory. I'd also take that solenoid out and replace it with a small bolt.

Yea, the fuel solenoid. You don't need it, and they like to get gummed up and cause issues. Least they do on the briggs and hondas.

If I remember, there are only 4 wires used out of the original harness.
Orange - fused hot from battery to power control box Black - Ground yellow/red - starter solenoid Black/yellow - coils
then take red or any color from regulator to battery
