Prodrive Gen 2 Skeg
Does anyone know if the new PD skegs (like the ones Bayouboy use to make) will fit on a Gen 2 lower unit?

Yes, I know.
No, they don't. (At least, if you are asking if the Gen III and Gen IV LU skegs fit the Gen II.)

Re: Prodrive Gen 2 Skeg
Basically I want to get a Bayouboy skeg for my Gen 2, but since he doesn't make them anymore I was hoping the new PD skegs without the bar at the bottom would work. Sounds like I'm SOL. Thanks for the info.

Re: Prodrive Gen 2 Skeg
Are they made out of 1/4" 5086 aluminum?

Re: Prodrive Gen 2 Skeg
If I recall correctly, yes....1/4" thick aluminum.
A carbide, metal cutting circular saw blade, reciprocating saw and drill....and a good template!
