HELP 35 hp mudbuddy tilt trim problem
I have a 2006 35hp mud buddy and I made the mistake of not pulling my plug the last time I went out and after a good rain I went outside and found my boat was half full of water with the tiller handle under water and had been for a couple of days. I drained it and tried the tilt trim and it didn’t work. I took the football apart and sprayed contact cleaner on it and let it dry out but it still didn’t work. My clutch switch works though, so will I most likely just need to buy a new switch or do I need more? I greatly appreciate any help I can get.

Jump out the trim switch, MB has wiring diagrams to show you which wire goes where. This will help you in eliminating the switch as the issue. you would basically pull the power and touch to up or down and you should see movement, that is if your trim motor is still good. most likely it is the switch
