LEDs Installed under Gunnel/Catwalk
Finally added my waterproof LED strip lights under the gunnels. It's not as bright as the photo shows due to the photo being adjusted by the auto ISO.

How are you guys installing the LED strips to the aluminum? Some type of adhesive?

Some of those strips have adhesive backing. You could just use silicone, or a spray adhesive, or some sort of not completely permanent glue. Dont overthink it, you just want it to stick, not hold a kangaroo up.

And if you want it to hold a kangaroo up, use this stuff called "boat life". It's like silicone concrete for marine use. Once it is stuck on, you can't get it off without an edged weapon forged in the fires of mordor.

3M two sided body tape. The self adhesive stuff didn’t last one day.
