I’ve lived in Louisiana for the past 6 yrs. The people here are some of the toughest and most resilient folks that I have ever met and I wish nothing bad upon them…..

Funny how actual recorded history shows "climate change" was the norm every century for as long as they can track it, yet 4 degrees hotter is automatically our fault. Whatever. Do i think plastic trash islands in the ocean are a good thing? No. But fuck climate change and banning all things that burn fossil fuels. The production of batteries for EVs, and the production of the vehicles themselves and the energy to keep them on the road isn't net neutral or net better than current vehicles for the environment. Ignoring some of the facts and just showing emissions differences between EVs and gas or diesel burning vehicles is bush league and shady at best, and downright wrong once you dig into the FACTS. Same goes for representing solar or wind power as better in it's current or near future iterations.

Change happens - it was hotter in the 1500's and again in the 1800's than now
and that was before the mass use of coal and fossil fuels....

Should we adapt or change our ways for the benefit of future generations - sure !

But burning a ton of coal in China to produce a single solar panel - just is not the best way !

Not to mention that feeding "The Dragon" that is hunting the prosperity of future American
generations is not such a good idea to back with taxpayer money !



Will throwing trillions of taxpayer dollars away actually make any difference ???
Doubtful - in fact it will actually make the problem worse ! ! !



Currently China and India - produce 100 times more greenhouse gasses than the US so
common sense says sending them any money at all is what produces greenhouse gasses ! ! !

The US could have the greatest impact by - a total ban on the import of any and all products from
both China and India for the next 10 years - than by any other method currently being considered ! ! !

That is how you make a real difference - and you convince our strongest allies to do likewise - then
you will see China and India get onboard and make a significant impact on greenhouse gasses to
get the total import ban lifted ! ! !

We have been cutting greenhouse gasses for 40 years....

Parris accords don't expect China and India to do anything for another 10 years and
then give them another 20 years to reach limited goals that don't even match the
emissions reductions we already have in place now ! ! !

So your idea to lead by example has already been going on for 40 years - so why
bother to do anything more than we have already done without government mandates
that destroy our economy and way of life ? ? ?





Why are your party leaders not pushing hard for building more nuclear plants here in the
US and across the world - a technology which we have held the lead in for decades ? ? ?

A technology that truly is net carbon zero over long periods of time and powers our industry ! ! !

A bright kid under 20 patented a mini reactor that consumes nuclear waste that was cheap
to build - safe - and could run a town of 100,000 people effectively yet the government
has that effectively blocked from production.... There is enough stored spent nuclear fuel
to build a thousand of those reactors stored underground right now....

That technology exists now - yet Democrats want to push hundreds of billions into EVs with
40% of the needed materials only available in China - produced with coal fired power.... On
a vehicle fleet American infrastructure is not ready or able to support.... We already have
rolling brown outs and power shortages and can barely keep up with demand much less
also begin charging millions of EVs as well at charging stations that do no exist yet....

Makes no sense the direction they are leading us in ! ! !

Hey, I'm all for nuclear-generating plants. The oil industry is still a formidable lobbying force, however.

Voting Democrat does not lower the world's temperature. 8 years of Obama did not cool the world so much at 1/100 of a degree. Ushering in socialism does not change the world's climate. "Global warming" and "Climate change" is nothing more than fear mongering to gain power for the left. The climate has always changed and always will.
