 Bacon Explosion Now with pictures, hopefully. My first thread on this site and I hope it goes well.
I made a Bacon Explosion yesterday and brought it to work this morning. It lasted about 5 minutes.
First i weaved a mat from thick cut Apple Smoked Bacon.
Then I fried a pound of bacon bits.
I mixed a pound of sausage with a pound of ground chuck.
Removed the bacon from the pan and put two links of my own boudin (uncased) in the skillet with just enough chicken broth to raise the bottom. Cooked the boudin until it was golden brown.
Spread the boudin and bacon bits on the meat. This is where you sprinkle some Slap Yo Mama or add cheese if you want to. I didn't.
Roll it up.
Two hours in the smoker at 350 and some pecan wood get's you one of these.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
