Finally got into the ducks. It was unlike anything I have ever seen in all my years of duck hunting!!! Incredible. After we each got our 4 greenheads (8 total), we set up for the divers and boy, did they cooperate. After my buddy got his bull canvasback, I took one -- upon retrieve, I noticed a little bling. Double banded, BABY!!! $100 reward band on one leg -- and better than that -- Jack Miner band on the other. Figuring that it couldn't get any better than that, we just sat there for a while, soaking it all in. As we sat in the wide open, a pair of redhead drakes came into the spread like they were on a string. You guessed it, they were both banded -- sequential numbers. How cool is that? Made for a nice day, fo' sho! |

Damn Jon, looks like you guys had a great time in the picture!!! Where did you hunt that it snows red and green for Christmas??? Never did get why people post up pics and blank half of it out....
