 Re: Starting youngWhen my daughter was younger I would bring her in the blind and I would let her shoot the decoys with her BB gun. Now she is older and still comes hunting with her own Shotgun. She looks forward to going just as much as I do.

I was at Ruddock about a month or so ago. A guy in front of me was getting his boat ready to launch, I was too. I get finished ready to launch and figured that I would go ahead if he is still rigging it out. he goes, I go behind him. park my truck, and kid you not he was walking with a baby carrier. I hollered out at him, that I would have helped him if I would have known he had a baby. "Oh no, i got it" Ok, so I get in, and pull away, sure enough he had a baby in his bateau. He was going fishing the kid and him. And the baby carrier had a special float looking thing around it. And looked like the baby had something around it. And a cover if I remember right for the sun. Now, I got to say, without another person to help, I think that was a little young. I was thinking maybe he was bringing baby to a camp or something but when I pulled out hours later and leaving the boat launch, he drove up in his boat. _________________ VooDoo--what you get when you leave your Voo outside all night long. |

Re: Starting young Thanks! Capt. I did not sleep at all that nite thinking that he did not miss that deer. The next morning I went back to the shooting house and reevaluate this! Lung ! And just a little of it! I walked all around it Sunday at dark . This is the funny part. Well after I found the deer I called his school lady answers phone yes mam! Can you get my grandson a message? We will try! Tell mason that he made a perfect shot and I found his deer! She laughed and said I am on my way rite now. Paw paw!

Re: Starting young Love seeing the kids out with their dads. Got one of each and have really enjoyed my time afield with my daughter, She is 16 now and has her own plans most of the time so enjoy it while you can guys. They grow up way too fast!
