Ended up calling in a group of around 100 and some groups of 10 2 more were sitting on the creek after we took our pictures so we limited out at 830 9 bands outa 20 geese |

i talked to the other guys and 5 were banded in june and the rest in june of 2009 |

I believe it. They band the shit out of those birds. Thats why all those douches on TV have a lanyard full of bands. Canada geese aren't very populated in southwest LA but I have killed a few. Out of the small pile I have killed over the years, I've killed 2 that were banded and seen another one get killed out of my blind. We kill the small Canada geese that are hardly bigger than a mallard. We call them cacklers, not sure exactly what they are. My daddys guides called them in for me! |

What I'm saying is I'm having a hard time believing y'all shot nine banded geese on one hunt. I've been guiding goose hunts for eight years now and limit out almost every morning and evening on lesser Canadians between 3-6 people and have got three bands off cans.. |
