2008 PD 36 repainted
I bought abunch of parts to replace on my 08 36hp prodrive. Skeg, oil cooler, throttle parts, tiny tach, etc. just stuff that was wore out. While i was taking it apart i decided to go ahead and repaint the whole thing since i had been wanting to do it since i bought it about a year ago. I painted the engine block with lo-gloss duplicolor engine enamel. I painted my BPS exhaust with VHT flame proof header paint (not sure how i feel about it yet) and painted everything else with duplicolor flat black acrylic enamel.

Nice flower pot Drill a small hole underneath but just in front of the filter element. That will allow any "sideways" rain or water to drip out

Hold back the tears when that paint comes rolling off that exhaust. Even the best header paint and the most meticulous prep doesn't stand a chance against that kind of heat and expansion/contraction. Motor looks good though.
