Take the cover off where the trim switch is attached. You will see a couple of countersunk allen head screws in the trim box mechanism. Pull the one on the front left top i believe and fill there.

Hey DFM if you go to the GT site and go to the motor page at the bottom you can download a copy of the owners manual and they have a detailed description of how to change the fluid.

I just changed mine yesterday. Look up under the plastic cover where the toggle switches are. There are 2 nuts on each side of the cover, remove those. Pull the plastic cover up just enough to get to the other bolt It is about 7inches and goes from one side of the cover to the other. Unscrew it and pull it out. This will let your actuator come out. Pull it down, and unscrew the allen head screw on the front of the actuator. That is your filler hole. Put the oil in there. Although in the back of the manual it says to retract/extract the actuator some when filling. I suggest reading it before.

You know Darrel I don't know its the last thing that I think about,I check it out for leaks and what not but as long as it holds the motor in the position where I set it and doesn't bleed down its good.

Now having said that it will go out this week and I'll be running in dragging and hitting everything back to the truck.

Just run it. If it works, and no leaks are present there shouldnt be an issue. I dont see the trim ram gettign hot enough to ruin the fluid that is in the resivoir!

Since there is no information on the web on how to actually do maintenance on these Parker Trim actuators, I took some time and called the company and they gave me their very limited information on how to change out these motors on the actuator and fill the them with hydraulic oil. Pretty simple procedure. See pictures below
