I got a 35 Vanguard that keeps flooding out on me when I run wide open throttle and let off. It’s very intermittent and I can’t figure it out. New carb, I inspected the needle and seat. I pulled the vent for my gas tank. My next thought is that there’s pressure building in my fuel water separator when it’s exposed to direct sunlight. I noticed my fuel filter had filled up today with my gas shut off off and the vent out of the tank. I unscrewed then separator and I heard hissing and had gas spraying out. Other than the tank and carb what else could be my issue? |

U could drop float level a hair also. Melt off idle fuel limiters and dial in the idle fuel. Set up the governed idle spring. Set valves. For any engine with an idle issue i run a leakdown. Often find heads in need of valvejobs |
