I'm looking into building a mud hull for my surface drive. I'm looking at building a 1748 with a hunt deck and I've read that pierce aluminum will cut the pieces out and all you have to do is weld it up. Just wondering what the ballpark price would be for a 3 piece hull, any of yall have done this before. |

They will crimp a 1 piece hull out of a 8'x20' sheet. They wont cut anything out (rake, sides, etc). They will cut the length to whatever you want and give the cut off piece for use for the transom. |

I sent Pierce a bill of material to bend a 1 piece and supply the misc. aluminum I wanted. They quoted me around $1500. |

Move that fuel tank and battery to the front, that will help or get you a riding partner to sit up front.(in a bikini |

My quote was for them to bend and crimp the hull, and all misc. material i wanted. 18 x 48. I still haven't pulled the trigger. Working out of town construction. |
