Any body used Charles Leonard recently? I have read some old things I found using "search" I have had nothing but good experiences thus far but then again I don't have the boat yet. Also I know this is a mud motor forum but I am putting a 90 hp four stroke tiller Yamaha on this hull since I already have a gatortail on a hull. Any person have experience with similar set up that they wanna share. |

make sure ja-jo ain't cracked out when he welds it up. lol i've had several of his boats. they make a good boat. |

that is normal. if you wait on him to call you and tell u whento pickit up is the easiest thing. or go get your money back and go to sportsmans fab in morgan city and get a nice boat without all the billsheet. |

Yea I love Casey's work and wanted to use him but he wouldn't even accept a deposit or give me a time line because he was really busy and backed up. Charles has been very nice and seems to do great work but has told me it would be ready twice and it has not been even started. I live 5 hours away so that makes it a lil bigger deal to drive down and it is not ready. |

he's [Charles] made 4 boats for me. you can't help but like the guy, he is a real character. if he likes you, he usually will build it pretty qiuck. if he don't, he may never build it or build it when he is good and ready. or pass it off to the other welders there. he makes a good boat, and a tough boat, but remember, you are dealing with a man from piearre part, la. you will get it only when he is ready for you to get it. i ain't sayin that's right, but that's how it's done over there. he will gladly give you back your money if you if that's a dealbreaker. good luck. |

I had one like that he built me, cept it had a windshield. with a 200 merc it would run in the low 60's all day with the windshield closed. lol was a great boat. took a wave good, was extremely stable on pad, and would float real shallow. the price on them hulls has probly tripled since then. |
