Post subject:  Jack Plate help!

I know this isn't really mud motor related but I just received my new atlas micro jacker today and i am trying to figure out how to run the wires. I have a lowe roughneck with pod seats and a tiller motor so no console to run the wires to. any advice or pictures would help. Thanks in advance for the help

I mounted one on a similar set-up a couple years ago. Don't have any pics but I kept most of the wires(connected to the solenoids) coiled and stored them in my battery box next to the transom. The wires for the trim switch I ran to a grab bar with a different toggle switch on the end of it so I could trim up/down on the run without looking down for a switch somewhere. I wired in a trailer light connector so I could unplug it and remove the grab bar if I didn't want it in the way while hunting or fishing.
I changed the toggle switch out to a rocker-switch similar to this one on the end of the grab bar handle.

Thanks for the input. i currently have my battery in front of one of the pods to help with weight. im just trying to keep everything clean looking and keep wires straight so weights or anything dont get tangled and ripped out hunting

Just run the wires alongside the power cables for your motor into the pod next to your battery then. The main thing is to make sure the solenoids don't get wet. Don't ask me how I know.
