Critter getter makes some real nice pirogues. I have a 12' flat back. Mine has been through hell and back for 10 yrs or so and still holding up good. They make a 14' flat back that would i know would handle 2 people and a motor if you wanted one. I also have a Ron Chapman 14' but I've had to replace the wood around the top and have patched the bottom a couple times

I'm on my 2nd Ray Chapman since 2003. I'd still be on my first if it didn't get stolen. It was 11 years old and in fine shape. I switched to composite rails when I bought the one I have now, but it is a 14' 2 man.

I've been in both a critter getter and a chapman and both are great
