I've got a 1548 mod v bow Weldcraft with a GDLT running a 22hp Predator motor. On our first test run we with the 9x5 prop we got 15mph loaded , 18mph empty at 3950rpm and I'm about to order a Backwater 9x6 which should help with speed but I need to add flotation to the back. I weigh 300lbs and the 3gal fuel tank is also in the back for now. I want either pods or a full width hunt deck type pod. Pods would help with resale in case I split it up down the road but I've read the pods wake can act weird with the LT cavitation plate. Can anyone recommend someone to do it within a couple hours of the Houston area? How much should something like this cost? |

Where you at in Houston? Several aluminum welders in the Houston area. Jay Dore with Instagator / Sabine skiffs probably be your closest. |
