Due to legal reasons I will not be able to put the waiver online for everyone to sign like I originally planned to do.

You will need to sign it at the landing.

For the guys who is coming from another direction, I'm sure you will be mustering at the kick off point of the run which is Russo's Landing so just pull up to the landing jump out the boat and take 10 seconds of your time and sign the waiver.

This is what I use when I host fishing tournaments... It's on the sign up sheet we hand out.


PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK: Upon signing this application, I hereby waive & release all other contestants, host sponsors and tournament officials from any and all liability claims, demands, actions or rights of action which are related to, arise out of, or in any way connected with my participation in this tournament, for any and all claims of death, personal injury, accidents, theft and damage to myself, my partner, to others and all equipment involved in fishing. I voluntarily assume full and all responsibilities for my health and safe being arising from my participation in this tournament. I assume responsibility for all equipment on and off water during this tournament. I have sufficient health, accident, and liability insurance to cover any bodily injury or property damage incurred by myself or others as a result of my participation in this tournament. If I have no such insurance, I represent that I am capability of paying for any and all such expenses or liability. I have read and understand the rules of this tournament and I will obey all rules and understand that any violation may result in immediate disqualification without refund of my entry fee. I also understand that tournament officials may reject my application for any reason and in that event will refund my entry fee. By signing this application, I will submit to a polygraph if requested to do so. If I fail to pass the polygraph, I will be disqualified. The “West End Anglers” have my permission to use my name, photograph and film footage of me if it chooses to do so. My signature above reflects that I have read the entire document, understand it completely, understand it affects my legal rights and agree to be bound by its terms. Very true Brooks, this is only to help off set some liability your taking the proper precautions and with the amount of interest the run draws you can never be too safe. Looking forward to the run thanks for the hard work.

Tell me again why you are liable becuse you said you were going to ride that weekend and cook at your camp and a bunch of people decided to show up on that day too?

why everybody fussin over a waiver? if i had this many people on my private lease w/ boats and a 99.9% chance of a beverage i would put a waiver out too.... just too much liability when it is your property or your lease you are responsible for....

It is very hard for me to bring a guest to my lease due to the liability and insurance reasons... hell i have to carry a 1 million dollar insurance policy on my boat just to be able to put it on the lease.

My insurance company doesn't cover me they know how I roll
