Called Coco Thursday, and ask about demoing a 35. He wanted me to come pick up their 1660/35GDSD rig, but I really wanted to try it on my boat. I dont get off in time to get my boat to him, so I parked it in his yard thursday night. About 7:40am Friday, I get a call saying they got the motor on my boat, so I can come get it whenever (their hours are 8:00-5:00, so it was 20min before they open) about an hour and a half later, I get a call back. The mechanic saw some water and trash in my fuel filter, so they cleaned it all out, and just wanted to let me know so I could keep an eye on it. I left early to go get it, and HAD to take it for a spin.

With my 23, me and the dog, I could get 23.6 in a decently deep canal (no shallow speeds to mention) With this 35, I was able to get 32.3 in about the same depth water with me and my mutt. Im gonna go take it for a spin again tomorrow, and mess with the trim and what not a little more. I was a little nervous yesterday, and didnt really get comfortable till the ride back to the landing.

Some BIG differences I noticed between the 35 and my 23 besides the obvious.
When I go to neutral with my 23, the prop wants to drop back in the water if you dont homd the handle down. With the 35, it will rest with the prop in the air. The 35 will trim down Waaaaaayyyyyyy more, which helps a good bit getting off mud flats.
Really thats the only bitches I have about the 23 besides the lack of speed and power when handeling a load.

In all, Im really enjoying the 35, and the customer service IMO was way above and beyond what is usually expected. As always.

Coco does take care of his customers for sure. I had some carb issues with my 23 gdsd the first day I took it out. I also got a handle bar kit, fuel and water sep, and both were missing parts. I called to complain a little and Austin who works there told me to come over and he would take care of it. It was cold as heck that morning a few weeks ago so they rolled my boat in the shop with the heat going and took care of everything. He had a guy working on the engine and 2 guys mounting my handle bar kit ( no charge ). Also he asked if I had a push pole and I said no so he made me a good deal on one for all my trouble and mounted it with their clips ( no charge ) . He gave me the fuel fittings that were missing from my fuel water sep kit. Austin asked where I was gonna mount my fuel tank and I told him up front so he gave me all the fuel line I needed ( no charge ) and even gave me one of their mounting brackets for the tank ( no charge ) !!!!!!!! First class in my book any day!!!!! They know they messed up so they made up for it. They will always have my business. ......Jessie

It would really help this review if you let us know what hull the motor was mounted on for this trial / demo.

is that a real stock 35 or maybe a lil trick do to it

Pretty sure it's bone stock. Had 58 hrs on the tack when I left go-devil with it!

Went ride again today. Me , the ole lady, and her two kids got 31.5!! My ole lady isnt a small person. Shes about 5'10" her oldest daughter is about 5'9" and the youngest isnt small either. I must say, I was impressed!

White1 those are great speeds for a STOCK motor with that many people,I have 4 friends with that motor on differant hulls and they all do not get close to those numbers,I'd buy THAT motor and hull.
