Gtr 40xd with factory 2 blade. Load-just me and Black Chyna Fit and finish-very nice craftsmanship. Every part of it is high quality. Speed-30-31 deep, 32-33 in the skinny water, and even hit 34 once. Overall assessment : Its a nice boat. It doesn't turn quite as sharp as i was hoping for with a round chine hull, but its a big boat and i was running it with no grab bar so not much leverage. The tiller torque - its a gtr. I was really surprised by the speed and power. I even bumped rev limiter a few times but that will be taken care of once i load my 900lbs of shit in it and a baby elephant. It handled big lake rough water pretty good, i stayed dry. My last motor was a gtr 35 and i assumed that the "40hp" sticker on the new motors with the same blocks was complete bullshit.. I was wrong. At the very least the efi and other mods added 5hp.I have an extra big blade that I will send off to the master in Houma for some magic pixie dust. |

I had zero tiller torque on my old GTR or this new one I have. What tiller torque you speak of? |
