Hello, does anyone know how the lower seal housing is held onto drive shaft tube? The model is a year 2000. Thanks |

The housing is part of the tube. Should just be a cap on the end with 2 flat sides that's reverse threaded (righty loosey lefty tighty) to put a big crescent wrench on and unscrew it. The seals are in the cap. #CFFITR #mudmotor>physics |

The bearing housing is pressed onto the drive tube. The seal cap is reverse threaded into the bearing housing. |

I appreciate the info. Do you know how much clearance there should be between the housing cap and the nut that is closest to it? |
