Have a new spot we're going to try this year and as usual its a last minute rush to get organized.
Going to put a frame in the water and pull the boat up onto it and shoot from it. See how it goes before I build a permanent blind.

The stags have just about finished their roar and though I didn't shoot one I did have fun chasing them around the bush. Oh and I shot 6 or 7 hinds while I was at it. The most notable was with my daughter. We were heading in on a stag and found a hind so instead of spooking her and blowing the whole deal we decided to shoot her. Turns out there was 5 hinds there so after a few running shots I got 4 on the ground. Love the AR for that.

Good fun getting the kids out hunting.
