Gdsd rpms
Took the advice of several on here and had my valves adjusted and carb cleaned. I ran it this weekend and At wot in the water I was getting 4040 rpms. I remember seeing on here once before that running that high on a stock engine is looking for trouble. Is this true. I’ve tried to search for the thread but can’t find it.

Re: Gdsd rpms
35 or 37?
The 35’s should be 38-3900
37’s seem to be anywhere from 4000 - 4500 in the happy spot.
Edit: nevermind I see you said carb. Normal is 38-3900 but I guess depending on what coils your running 4050 isn’t what I would consider dangerous .
