Have you ever noticed that there are times throughout your day when thoughts, ungodly thoughts, come floating across your mind? It is not a sin to have these thoughts float across your mind, it is sin however, if you choose to continue to entertain and meditate on those thoughts. This often happens to me, and when it does, I ask God to forgive me. The reason I ask for forgiveness is because Jesus knows our thoughts. If you struggle in this area, ask God to help you overcome that struggle. Your thoughts are important to Jesus.
