God has a purpose for every man and woman. After making Adam and Eve he said to them "be fruitful and multiply (increase in number) fill the earth and subdue it." In order for Adam and Eve to subdue Earth they had to grow in number. This brings up the question, are we as Christians growing in numbers? The world today looks much different than it did years ago. Look at the world today, people get offended every time they see a cross, people get offended by the word Merry Christmas, or even when someone says a public prayer. If we were growing in great numbers, people would be offended about all the evil in the world today whether it be crime, pornography, murder, greed, abortions, gay marriage etc, etc. We are living in a world where evil is celebrated. We are worried about offending someone when the word says to stand up against evil. Ephesians 5:12- So how can we reach out to others? Invite friends and family to church. mentor others, pray with someone you see is having a hard time, show people the love of Christ by being a representation of Jesus Christ. |
