I finally killed a decent buck & would like to have him mounted. I'm looking for taxidermist recommendations in Southeast LA. I don't want the cheapest or the fastest, quality is my number one concern. It took me 20 years to get this one & it'll probably take me 20 more for the next one, so I'd like for it to be done right. Thanks |

I personally use joe strange in Houma. Joes a real nice guy, does wall pedistol mounts for great prices, quick turn around, and quality mounts. You won't be disappointed and he's a stand up guy. Whatever you do please do your research. Nothing is worse than looking at a poor quality mount for the rest of yor life. |

Oh and whatever you do ask what tanning process they use. Do not settle for a mount that had simply been dry preserved. It's a lazy, outdated, low quality alternative to tanning that some taxidermists still use to squeeze every last bit of "profit" out of a mount. |

Eddie Luft in Raceland does outstanding work and has won a couple awards with his mounts. I strongly suggest using him. Tell him Scott Robichaux sent you. Nice Buck!!!!!!!! |

Ronnie @ American Hunter in Covington985-705-3962. I'm pleased with his work and have 2 mounts from him. Pretty fast turn around as well. |

In south east louisiana Morse taxidermy on brown rd in Ponchatoula is the best deer taxidermist. |
