 Trolling motor and light bar
Do any of you guys have a trolling motor and light bar mounted at the same time or is it only one of the two? I would like to be able to mount my trolling motor without having to remove the light bar every time.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
Just mount the light bar on one side and the tm on the other. Many pics floating around here of rigs with both.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
I've got both. My light bar has sliding mounts along the bottom and is mounted very slightly off center. I took the time to mount it so it wouldn't get in the way of the trolling motor and wouldn't stick out past the gunnels and get knocked off by a tree. The 22" bar worked out perfect on the bow of the boat.

I've got both. No problems. Lightbar is centered.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
That prodrive looks good but I don't think mine will be that easy. I have a 2010 Excel shallow water and it doesn't have near as much room in the front.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
I have 12" bar. It's more than enough light for driving. Has no effect on trolling motor. It also will fit between the bowfishing rail supports on the bow.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
I don't have pictures on my phone, but I have both up front. 12" bar centered and trolling motor.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
Angle it so that it misses the light bar. The head may be over the deck when not down but looks like you got plenty of room for the base mount and be careful when pullin it in

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
Thanks for the advice guys and for the pics. I may end up having to get a smaller light bar.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
forgot to add the picture. Not pointed bow, but I don't see how that would make it not work.

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
I got a pointed bow as well and you really can't fit a bar and trolling motor. I'm about to pull my light bar off and go back to my golight. It seemed to work better then this led bar does. It's usually foggy on the water early morning and all the white light does is blind you

Re: Trolling motor and light bar
May not be what you were thinking but this could be an option much like the Ram mount above considering space is of concern with your current light bar. Swivel seat base bolted to the light housing and inserted into the post. Allows me or a buddy to rotate the light whichever way when driving or in the hole. Also great to spin around when backing down the boat ramp. Simply unplug, remove light, store away then re -attach seat and back to fishing in your case.
