Putting it on is easy, tuning it can be tricky. They are supposed to come set up and ready to go, just a few turns on the a/f screw. Sometimes it's not that easy, having someone who knows there chit around to help would be nice.

Keith will let you know if there is anyhting else you may need to install it.. prolly wont need much other than the kit, unless you want a new throttle lever and the other goodies he has... lol

The BPS kit will come with everything ya need. Unless it's changed, you will have to change out the jet yourself, but the replacement is included in the kit, along with the instructions on how to change it. ;) I also orderred the BPS throttle lever with mine & changed them both @ the same time. I say go for it, if ya got the $$$, & order up the carb / exhaust /prop combo.

Im hope'n he can make the BPS throttle work for a GTR.. As of now I dont think they mount up... But he said he would try to make it work. Its way better than that plastic crap I have!

As for having to change out the jets.. Keith will do that as well if you want.. Its what he is doing for me.. All im doing is installing it... Let him know what you want/need and im sure he will do his best!

All ya have to do with the throttle is take a grinder to it & make it open up to a bigger diameter, or bring it to a machinist & have them do it. As far as changin out the jet, it's really simple to do as well. If ya in Houston area, just bring ya boat by when ya pickin it up & it can be done on the spot. Only takes about an hour or so to do the carb. Throttle lever will take a lil bit because it has to be done on the spot. Exhaust takes no time. We can even take it right down the road & run it afterward so ya can see the difference!!!

If you have a CDI motor, specify that when you order.

The BPS kit is a complete bolt on and probably the most esoteric tool you need for install is some snap ring pliers for the governor shaft.

I prefer the plastic handle myself, I just took the dremel to it and cut off the square point to make it more comfortable to drive.
