 Help with picking motor I am in the market for a small mud motor for my momarsh and jon boat here are the two I am looking at...need some feed back...when I spend the $$ I hope to get my $$ worth without the hassle of fixing junk.

Re: Help with picking motor Horse a piece, IMO. Both are good companies, but GD has been around a lot longer and BT is now owned by Otter Outdoors.

Re: Help with picking motor I run a MB 6hp on a Momarsh DP, the 6hp GD(109 lbs) will 100% sink your ass if you try and run it on the DP. If you plan on running it on the DP, find the lightest longtail ya can.
