I am in the market for a small mud motor for my momarsh and jon boat here are the two I am looking at...need some feed back...when I spend the $$ I hope to get my $$ worth without the hassle of fixing junk.

Beavertail 6 HP Kohler All Aluminum (Super-Lite Series)
Electric start / Backup pull start
175 cc
Long-Shaft 6 hp

"or"

Go-Devil 6.5hp INTEK Pro

Thanks...

Hands down Go Devil is the best longtail ever made. It will be money well spent for sure

Horse a piece, IMO. Both are good companies, but GD has been around a lot longer and BT is now owned by Otter Outdoors.

I run a MB 6hp on a Momarsh DP, the 6hp GD(109 lbs) will 100% sink your ass if you try and run it on the DP. If you plan on running it on the DP, find the lightest longtail ya can.

Stumpjumper 63 lb
beavertail 70 lb
mudbuddy 72 lb
utah marsh motors 62 lb
