Problem with brand new lt

 Problem with brand new ltI got a Honda gx390 with a Thai longtail. Just fired it up and every time I tilt the prop down the motor stalls. Prop does not have to be in the water to stall. I have enough gas in it. Is there any kind of modifications I have to do with the float? Thanks for any info

Re: Problem with brand new lt Never mind guys. Didn't realize that because I was tilting it so far down to a tub of water on my driveway that is was messin with the float

Dont know about all motors but my honda and my clones have the mercury switch tied to the terminal ground circuit. they are there to protect the engine from running at an excessive angle. |
