Post Problem with brand new lt
I got a Honda gx390 with a Thai longtail. Just fired it up and every time I tilt the prop down the motor stalls. Prop does not have to be in the water to stall. I have enough gas in it. Is there any kind of modifications I have to do with the float? Thanks for any info

Mercury sensor is only an issue when trying to start the motor, it doesn't affect anything when the motor is running. If that were the case, every time someone with a Go Devil trims down to dig in the mud, the engine would kill...[/quote]

Dont know about all motors but my honda and my clones have the mercury switch tied to the terminal ground circuit. they are there to protect the engine from running at an excessive angle.
