Are you keeping the stock carb? I would probably go with the BPS cam. just my opinion.

Keepin da stock carb. I hope da stock carb will make da moded engine last alot longer.

Hoyt took the factory carb and squeezed it ....

He took the heads and shaved 'em ....

He slicken' up the ports ....

He took the valves and shim-stiffen' em ....

He took the cam and lobed it ....

Then I took it and have runned the holy-butt-crapola out of it and shots mo DuckByrds .... caught mo Fishes .... skinned mo Skwerrlls than the DeltaDuckMasters would love to dream about !!!!

And that Sirs ...... is a Matr-Fact !!!!!! :D

Did I also say it made mines BoatHull a ChickMagnet !!!!! I'm typin' the troof !!!!! All the Chicks like to ride wiff me .... and believes me when I type ..... I need the extra power !!!! Not that the lady's are all that big ...... Just so dang many of 'em. It's like ..... Hey Brooks .... lets go ridin' .... Hey Brooks .... lets go fishin' ..... Hey Brooks .... lets go and catch Frogs .... Hey Brooks .... whens it gonna be mines turn ?? I here this all the time ...... and quite frankly .... it gits old !!!! I sometimes just put the re-fudge on 'em and tell 'em .... No .... I'm too tired and I gots a head-ache !!!!!

Just got da rig back home. I ended up gettin everything I mentioned above plus got da heads decked .02 and went wit Hoyt's cam instead of da BPS cam. Gonna go put it in da water wednesday and thursday. Will have a full review before Caddo.

Well after runnin wed, & thur. I am Pissed....................





I should have got dis done a long time ago. It's like runnin a tottaly different motor. It idles better, starts easier, and throttle response has improved. I gained bout 2.5 mph (I am now able to hit da 32 mph mark) on topend by myself runnin light. But wit 4 people in da boat I can run 28 mph, dat's up from 25, and it planes out allmost instantly even wit a heavy load. Best part of it all is, my max out of water RPM's did not go up at all.
I'm tottaly satisfied wit da performance gains I am seein. Another Big Ole THANK YOU to Hoyt, Kyle, and da rest of da Gator-Tail team.
