Got an email from my pops today, I'm headed up to D.C. to meet him May 6, from there headed to the Chesapeake Bay to do some fly fishin' for big stripers. It's supposed to be the best time of year to catch a hoss. Here's links to the two guides we're using. One of them does guided goose/ sea duck hunts in the fall too.

You can catch some toads. They fight so much harder in the Spring than during the fall/winter. Yall fishing up in Murland or down here in VA?

We're going to St. Michaels, MD. Most of the guides in VA were already booked up for the weekends that we could go.

DC, Let us know how it all goes went you get back. A review of the guide and accomodations would be good too. That sea duck hunting looks interesting. I am open to different stuff and looks like I could try that.

Got back from the trip last night. First day we fly fished, which was pretty interesting considering I had never done it. It was rough at first, but I caught on pretty quick. The second day we trolled out deep and caught bigger fish, the biggest being about 35 lbs.
