Post Broke down on Caddo.
I found out where Crips was from my buddys lake house, about three miles, maybe more. I broke down right by it on the river. My motor wouldnt go into gear, via the red knob. I had to hold down the momentary button to get to crips. Anyone ever had that knob go out?

get a screwdrivwer, take off the cover to the control box, and make sure u don't have a loose connection or a wire that has come off. . u have to do that anyway to swap the switch out.

i've seen people do lots of crazy stuff only to findout it's just a bad connection or a groundwire.

good luck with it, hope it's sumthin simple.

yep and you can use same screwdrive to jump the wires into gear and get home......lawnmower store that sells skag will have the switch.

I'm wanting to buy an old skag and fool around with the steering motors ......maybe a remote engine moutn hydraulic twin drive.....project "x" somethin somethin.
