any one up fer a run at DAM B this year in Aug?

Just need 2 get some heads together and set a date for the begining of aug. Lets make it a offical ride like the others.

La Mud Run is July 31, don't know how many ppl would show up early Aug. Wonderin if late Aug wouldn't be better, might give us a lil time to save funds and sweet talk for another road trip.

Where is it? I see no "Dam B" on a map anywhere in Texas

It's right down the highway from Dam A, just before Dam C.

be careful ridin around that time b/c gator season and teal season are in early september. jus sayin. ppl mite b out scoutin in august.

Yes, dove season will open on Sept 1, but early teal is proposed at Sept 11 if it's a 16 day season. We should be fine late Aug.

i vote we have it on aug 21st.... thats gives plenty of cushion on september so we dont run into anyone scouting or anything like that and still 3 weeks after la mud run incase anyone needs to make repairs plenty of places to stay in jasper and a few camp grounds around the lake.... its a nice place to ride and like already mention, lots of veggies and trails... i prob hunt there 85% percent of the last duck season so i know the lake pretty good. ive done my fair shair of trail riding and explorin on that lake.

yea it is fun... i would have to stop and clean the boat out every now and then


as for the height, some places it was hard to see where you were goin standing up.... it makes it an adventure

yeah there are a few sickups and logs. its a good thing 2 know where ya going out there when u cant see at speed. I have gotten some "air time" my self and wit sunrise superman aka Roger on a few runs after rita.

them seed pods hurt,i ran though some of that right before duck season and came home with quite a few of 'em in the boat

guess no one wants 2 go!
