Ill choose a Beretta or a Benelli any day of the week. You gum flappers can piss and moan about price but you get what you pay for.

I shoot an original 391 extrema. I dont know how many seasons i have shot the gun (its gotta be 6 or 7) but no failures what so ever. The gun really doesn't get treated right and it gets abused. It will shoot light loads no problem and i have also shot it when it was -10... Hasnt missed a beat

I also have a 390- 20 gauge i shoot for dove and quail hunting and 3 seasons, no issues.

For the last 3 years I have shot a super nova pump. I love it cause it holds up great in the salt marsh. I have even dropped it in a slat lake in west texas, (saltier than the gulf, i know cause I fell in with it.) and broke it down wiped it down with spit and a dirty rag and it still hasn't jammed. Now it was a little stiff during that hunt, but i broke it all the way down, and clean it up good. I shot like it did the first time after that.

This year I also used my yidez over under some. I just like the way it shoots.

I shoot a Stoeger Model 2000. I was looking for a new shotgun and liked the look and feel of this one. Bought it and it has been great.

I shoot an Xtrema2 and I'm very happy with it so far. Only been through one season. Before that I shot a Stoeger 2000 for about 3 years. I have never shot a gun as well as I shot that lil stoeger, but still getting used to the Beretta. Only reason I got rid of the stoeger was it had a hard time cycling low brass at the range. Shot an old Mossberg 835 for about 7-8 years before the stoeger. Liked em all.

I personaly liked my ol trusty Benelli nova, but I will probobly be getting rid of both of my Benellis after buying the SBE II ,and it not even holding up to 1 dagum season, and Benellis SHITTY customer service.
Bought the gun last June, and never fired it till 1st day of duck season, and only hunted with it the first half of season, when I noticed a ring bulge in it. So I sent it back, thinking it was no big deal that Bennelli would stand beside it,as I clean my guns after every hunt no matter what, well low and behold,Bennelli said it was not a defect, and that I would have to buy a replacement barrel for damn near $500.00,wich I refuse to do at this point because its a $1,600 shotgun, and I think Benelli should stand behind there products,so now I decided to let my lawyer handle it,and we will see where it goes from there. So me personally I will never buy another Bennelli POS.,I believe im either gonna go with Browning or Beretta. JMO

well brother i used to shoot ducks with a charles daly field hunter III and loved it and the way it threw a pattern well i had to hang it up for a while because it would miss fire because the spring for the action would not close the action all the way gun smith fixed it but have not shot it yet but (note to self) great excuse for your wife to let you get a new shot gun so i did i am now shooting a Remington 11-87 supermag waterfowl edition love the way it feels and have only shot turkeys with it but i have a great feeling from the way it patterns check it out on Remington's website good luck don't settle for less go with the best

I shoot a browning gold and love it. When I first got it I really didn't take care of it very well didn't clean it for the first two years I had it except for a water rinse down after hunting saltwater. Iv never had any problems with it especailly since I started cleaning it on a regular basis.

I use a Stoeger Condor o/u I paid $280 for it and gunkote'd it matte black. I was considering buying a browning cynergy o/u in the camo, but there kinda pricey for a duck gun. The stoeger goes through hell during duck season and hasnt given me a problem. It even went to the bottom of the lake this last season. A 1800 dollar gun would just be a liability out there... sure would stroke my ego though.

I shoot a browning silver and havent had a lick of trouble out of it. It felt better than a gold to me and it is cheaper.

damn thing jammed al the time, camo finish barely lasted a season, the mechanism that ejected shells just fell out during one of the best hunts of the season last year. M2000. Switched to the ol 870.

Hizzy I got one of those in every gauge, just do not have a light twenty. Now if you want to talk about a shotgun that has stood the test of time this is the one. I have some that are over 60 years old and never miss a beat. I cannot say that about some of the Italian stallions in the closet

My Uncle shot one for many years. They are great guns. The ole steel shot started wearing the barrel down and he finally hung her up. Shot an 835 for a while after that and now shoots a stoeger 2000. We been thinkin about getting him a new barrel for the a5 so he can bring it back out, but just never have done it.

Beretta, Benelli and you can't go wrong with a Remmy 1100/1187. If I had to pick one it would be the Beretta.
