 twin pd 27 or 36
anyone out there running a twin pd tiller like to hear how you like it pro and cons in the process of buying this set up to go on a 18x60 phowler

If you can swing it I don't know why you would choose the 27s over the 36s for any reason.

ok. drive a 27 for one hour, with one person in boat.. then put the second then drive a 36.. with one perosn, then two... imagine that doubled  true... the 23 HP dual Longtail Go devils that everyone used to run was great.. but along come the double 32s n 36s.. look out world!! theres a dual setup in the mudmotors for sale now. but the motors got alotta hours on them.

right now i run a gtr35 with a stag 1 evt on a 17 carolina skiff that boat weights a ton and no good on displacement once i get it on plane it runs great the phowler is made for these motors how much more power do you need 54 hp on a boat that is set up for this applaction stock and hopeing not as much wrenching it reminds me of my old shovel head go for a ride come home and turn a tool sick of it lokking forward to this new set up has any one run a dual set up 27 tiller?

I would imagine dual 27's would be plenty of power, but if you have got the money then go with the 36's.
