 muffler/ need advise
need advise, I have been running the BPS crossover and have been through 3 of them. They made them good under warranty, but I think it is time to move on. What muffler do you guys recomend between the EVT or the Marshmellow muffler. I have a Godevil 35 surface drive with head work, carb, cam, timing key.I installed the factory muffler today and wow, it is amazing how much power is reduced, lost about 200 rpms but the lack of power really suprised me. please post your opinions on which muffler you like for performance and durablility.

 Re: muffler/ need advise
I had both the EVT and the Marshmellow on my 35 GDSD. My choice is the Marhsmellow. Both are good products. My EVT had about 70 or so hours on it with NO problems. I switched to the Marshmellow only because of the sound. I had the EVT loud exhaust and wanted something a little quieter. I'm very happy with my decision. Call Kieth at SETXPerformance.com. He is a site sponsor and was really helpful when purchasing my exhaust.

 Re: muffler/ need advise
Been running the BPS cross over w/silencer and now there is a bunch of rattling going on inside of it, plus the Feds up here have given me a heads up on the dB rating. So I am also interested in a low tone setup that still performs. Has anybody done a true comparison between the MM and BPS both performance wise and on the meter?

total of 150 hours between all of them. 1st broke inside the baffles, the others the pipe cracked where the bracket meets the pipe. I also have a friend that had the same thing happen to his one.
