Re: Wanting to give a shout out Yeah, the gear housing looked normal, just shiny. But the skeg has like a piece of rod welded onto from the factory that his doesn't. Also some lil wedges on the sides that aren't there. So I didn't know if he completely rebuilt the skeg out of a fresh piece of aluminum. Looks like he did the whole top and bottom to me. I was just curious why. Stronger material maybe?
