 Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
Anybody have one? They look really good and I was wondering if they spin fast enough to make the wind powered mojo's work. I ain't gonna buy $300 worth of Mojo's to add to an already $300 or more rig, but I already have some wind powered mojos that work good in very light wind. http://www.cabelas.com/p-0020941.shtml

Re: Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
before i buy a mojo or a vortex again, im gunna buy another ureaduck them things WORK. We have a struttin mallard that we put in the brush behind us where the ducks can barely see the wings flappin and the way it sits on the water it makes ripples too. Its one of the only decoys ive seen that woodducks will work to. they are cheaper than a good mojo and i would look into them if i were you. We have had wind mojos on vortexs before and its not a great combo because one wing will be spinnin backwards or slower than the other.

We use the Vortex but we use the Winduk on ours. U can buy adapters specificly for the vortex and they don't turn around backwards while they're going around in circles. http://www.finalflight.net/merchant2/me ... ange_high=

Re: Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
I'm with MS... I think that is the biggest crock of bullshit. The first time I saw that in cabelas, I knew it's just a gimmick to make every dumbass that walked in that store, a "duck hunter".... Just another way to keep some companies afloat and to keep the ozone duck hunters in the game. I'll give it this.... I think it's the greatest idea since the mojo goose.....

Re: Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
The mojo goose is the shiat!! I hunted with a guy that had one once and it was the biggest forkin joke ive ever seen. It definatly doesn't look as good in the feild as it does in the pic in the magazine!

Re: Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
Probably cause the photo is 4x6 You pull it out of the box and you could send a kid gliding with the wings they provide

Re: Cabela's Vortex Spinning Wing System...
Lol Oops, I meant I hunted with a guy that had the vortex not the mojo goose. Even this guy knew better than that. Lol sorry for the confusion.
