Post question about old saddles
My father has a saddle dat an old man gave him when he was young. Anyway he brought it to a saddle maker to have it gone over a replace da stirrups because they were damaged. Anyway da saddle maker said dat dis was at least a 120 year old saddle and in great shape and dat he could sell it for between $6k and $9k. My question is does anyone know of where you would start off lookin to find a buyer for sumthin like dis.

Might just list it on Ebay with a reserve price on it. I'd start with a generic search on the net and see what ya find. Good luck wit it, sounds like ya Pops did good by hangin onto it this long. ;)

Cowboy thought- a thong on a woman is like a barbed wire fence. It protects the property but doesnt obstruct the view.

Like Stu said post some pics or some information about it. You would be surprised how many people like to collect old saddles. Im willing to bet you can sell it locally.
