 Motor shutting off?
Today i left my pod-nuhs house in my boat and about 2min after i left my motor just shut off. I checked my kill switch an it was fine, then I checked my plugs an they looked fine an were getting fire. Maybe this could be an elecrtical issue? Anyone ever experienced a problem like this?

 Re: Motor shutting off?
Assumed you checked all the wires at the back of the switch. If the Tach is registering RPM, then its getting fire on the plugs. If not, things to check are kill switch, oil pressure sensor (if installed). On stock carb, the anti-backfire solenoid on the fuel bowl must be open for it to get fuel (you hear a click when you turn the key).
I had an aftermarket PWC kill switch key that looked the same size as the one that came with my motor, it was just a hair too big and would kill it after 2 min of idle and at odd times.

 Re: Motor shutting off?
If that's the same motor I seen you with, it requires Fuel. Low fuel could surely cause your problem.

 Re: Motor shutting off?
My 23GDSD did that. It was the kill switch. Changed it and never had a issue again.

 Re: Motor shutting off?
Is it for sure gettin both fire and fuel? I had a problem with a bad connection with some of the ignition wires.

 Re: Motor shutting off?
I figured out the problem! I got ahold to some bad gas, or either the new gas hose i put in my boat had something in the inside of it! I have one of those clear inline gas filters an the was an orange color! I drained the gas out the filter then put it back on an it took me about 2min to get it going then once i got it to burn the gas out the carb an now it runs like a top! Anyone ever had this problem???

May have had some Bee Pee in it. That will give it an orange color.
