Spec sheet for a EVT Cam
Looking at buying Brinkleydogs EVT cam instead of taking mine out and sending it off to be worked on. My motor guy is asking for the spec sheet so he can see if it will work with what he's doing. Anyone know if there is a spec sheet out there on it? Their website is not working.

I'm sure there is one but I doubt anyone is gonna give up the info.

I had asked that question a long time ago and got ro reply. Dude you are not going to get anyone to give you cam specs. Forget it.

Re: Spec sheet for a EVT Cam
Just purchase Brinkleydogs and then have your builder determine if the profile is compatable. If it isn't throw it back up for sale.

x2. You should easily be able to get your money back out of it if for some reason it won't work with it. Only reason I could figure it wouldn't work (and correct me if I'm wrong guys) would be if your heads are decked too much. What other work is being done to your motor?

Re: Spec sheet for a EVT Cam
I didn't read the fine print.
"To search for Illustrated Parts Lists you MUST enter the engine's Model Type Trim number"
No wonder it was just pulling up the owners manual.

Re: Spec sheet for a EVT Cam
The cam will work fine in your motor. We have tried different lifts and durations and this one worked the best. If your guy wants to know that bad then tell him to put a mic to it.

Re: Spec sheet for a EVT Cam
wow.... doing mods to a motor and you dont know what a mic is.... i really have to ask this and i am not trying to be rude just helpful.... if you are doing mods, just be prepared to turn a wrench every once in a while... if you are not the type to do that then mods are not going to be the best option for you... these motors are fairly simple and easy to work on but most cost money upfront and continue to cost some money on engine upkeep.... especially if it is a briggs....
