Here's a crappy IPhone video I took this weekend... The water was up 4" after speaking with a few people we'll have a better idea of what the water level will look like compared to this video shot Saturday. Mud still present but a nice 2-3" water over the entire lake.

Ok, so after talking with a couple of the regulars over there, I think we should put in @ the locks. Here's a link with a map. The route on the EAST side of the river goes to the locks, the other route goes to Hugo Pt (where we launched last time).

If anybody's interested, me, robertb4wd, quack killa08 & Brad are gonna meet for breakfast @ Al-T's in Winnie around 7:30.

I'll be on the water at 5AM I dunno about you all but sunrise breakfast (pancakes & bacon) on the water sounds better than staring at 5 ugly forkers in a restaurant!

See y'all there!

BTW from a few of my sources: we'll know more about water level Thursday but based upon what the tides have been doing and water levels the earlier the better.

Bring sunscreen. Bring gas for a good all day ride.

We running areas in Freshwater, a lot of places to drop a jug off etc. I saw a lot of big cats last weekend. Game Wardens are checking so be legal. Make sure you have a registration card & life jackets. They asked me for my card last Saturday. If your going to fish make sure your legal (license, day pass, weekend pass whatever)

Uncle J, never met you but I'm white and straight and I was invited. How about I give you an official invite. I hear camo is a little on the homo side. I may need some heterosexual backup.

I can't deny the rescue, that was a bad day. About the fingers, I wondered why you always want to shake my hand.

Best time to ride will be at dawn water will be rising throughout the day. Some areas will still be good later but the best is going to be at sunrise. I'll be there early!
