 Re: Go to duck call
Goose call DC Brown Sugar flat out works around here. I keep trying to "upgrade" but nothing bumps it off the lanyard. I did buy a Black Ops DFB this year and am learning the cut down style of calling. Different but sounds good.

 Re: Go to duck call
A haydel's redleg is what seems to work the best for me. I've tried like hell to upgrade, but seems like all the new one's stick and freeze up. Got a few of the killerkallz now to play with also, so maybe one of them can push the ol redleg off the lanyard...

Echo's big water BOSS and back woods are the 2 i resort too, i also got to ring out some tones on the Killer kalz call that Keestan31 won and that is a great sounding call, can't wait for mine to come in, also have a local builder's call and i like that one too!

 Re: Go to duck call
RNT acrylic Daisy cutter, Timbre in Bois D'arc, or Old Style in Coco are whats strapped on. Hard to choose between the DC and Timbre. I guess if i had to choose id probably go with the Timbre. Got an RNT MVP for shits and giggles around the house. havent tried my luck on the stage... yet... also have a Killer Kallz courtesy of DK. Sounds good. tried a few different reed configurations and came out with a couple single setups i like and a nasty double that i think will have its place..

ive blown the duck commanders since i was 12 or so, i like the ole raspy. but ive been using the green mile and the sarge for the last 2 years and i recently bought a zinks ph-2 in acrylic and i have to say it has bumped all dc's off the lanyard the call sounds great!!

DC Duck picker and the DC Gadwall call are a very deadly combo.

 Re: Go to duck call
I picked up a cocobola TRIPLE reed for 25 bucks at a trade show. Don't know who makes it but it is by far the best I've heard. 2nd would be a Cut Down Timber Mallard.
