 problem w/ my 32 pd
Ok my motor has about 52 hrs on and its about 4-1/2 years old, hardly used but always ran great when i did run it. My problem is when i started it this pass weekend it cranked fine but when i gave it gas its like it wanted to stall but when i let off the throttle it ilded back up. Thinking it needed to warm up i let it idle for bout 10-15 min then tried it again and it still did it. I'm not good with engines of any kind so any help would be greatly appreicated. also i just did my annual maintance on the engine - Spark plug ,oil and fuel filter and changed the oil also.

Sounds like an air leak in the fuel system. Check all connections and if you have quick disconnects get rid of them.

Makes sense cause the fuel line is as old as the motor. I'll check it out this week !

Sounds like bad gas.The fuel these days only last about 1 month before the ethanol starts causing problems.Clean out your tank and replace all the gas with some new.

i did that also this past weekend when i did my service. But there may still be some bad gas in the line and in the motor itself. thanks for the post!

Re: problem w/ my 32 pd
Check the plug wires.Get a spray bottle with water in it and go out after dark.Start it up and spray the wires with water and look for sparks coming off the wires.
Also while it is running at high rpm you can pull the choke about 1/4 or 1/2 way out.If it clears up and run better then you know you have water in the carb. You can run it this way for a few minutes and burn the water out of the carb by keeping it choked.
