Picture of the Throttle Linkage on a Mikuni for a Remote PD
Does anybody have a picture so I can see how the throttle cable coming out of the Mikuni is connected on a remote Pro Drive? The Mikuni is a BPS. I know I can call Micah on Monday, but a picture would be really helpful. Thx in advance!

Not the best pics because they are on my cell, but here you go anyway. The choke cable is on a bracket I made myself.

Re: Picture of the Throttle Linkage on a Mikuni for a Remote
The biggest problem I've had is finding a "return" spring so the throttle returns all the way to idle. I had to find just the right spring with the right tension and drill multiple holes and try it every time. Right now it returns to idle when I throttle down pretty good but the spring is a little heavy so it won't stay wide open very good, I have to hold the throttle lever all the way up when I want to go all out. If you find something that works better I'd love to see some pics of it. It looks like my pivot point on the motor is bending a little bit so I'd like to find something that works better but I worked with what I had at the time!

Thank you for the pictures. It looks like you fabbed up several pieces on that connection. What year is your motor? I have a guy helping me with it, who is Mikuni Certified by Mud Buddy ( or whatever they call it, he is a buddy of mine), but he did not have the right cables to get it on today, so i thought I would look for ideas. He had the basic tiller cables. I will post a picture when he has it on. I had to leave my boat with him today, until he can get the parts from mud buddy.
Thx again for the pictures.

Re: Picture of the Throttle Linkage on a Mikuni for a Remote
Actually, almost all of the parts were on the motor originally from PD for the original carb. The only thing I actually made was the carb bracket to hold it up and the bracket for the choke. Minus a few washers to make it a little tighter, everything else was factory installed. It's an 06. But I'll still take Owen's comment as a compliment!!!

Re: Picture of the Throttle Linkage on a Mikuni for a Remote
Woffman- I spoke to Micah today at Mud Buddy- they have an adapter that you mount next to your valve cover ( I am assuming on the right side of the motor, if you are facing it from the back), that links the throttle cable from the carb into the throttle cable for the remote. All of the same cables, no extra mounts etc. I will post pictures when I have it back, so you can see if this would help your set up.

I'd appreciate it. It would have been nice if they would have offered me that setup! All I got was a couple clips....

Re: Picture of the Throttle Linkage on a Mikuni for a Remote
Woffman- As promised, here is a picture of the Linkage I used. I can not take credit for this set up, as Sid from Fast Duck Motors came up with the idea. The bracket that MB sent would not work on a finished cable like mine. But this is cleaner and works perfectly. Zero play in the throttle.
I would highly recommend Fast Duck Motors to anybody who is looking to upgrade their motors with Mud Buddy and many other products. Thx Sid!
