My wife's been taking some photo classes and as of late she has went around the neighborhood taking pictures of the wildlife and such.
Here are a few of her most recent pics. Hope you like them. The swimming gator is guesstimated to be about 10'. The still one in the water is 4 1/2' or so and we think the one on the stump is about 6' or so.

damn man those are some nice pics. i just got a really nice camera and bought a couple books on how to use all those settings, heres my best one so far. took it last month from a canoe on the buffalo river in arkansas

That's a nice looking picture. The effect of the fog on the water is cool looking. What camera are you using? My wife was using a Canon 350D in the 1st couple of pictures and the last few she was using her new Canon T2i she just got last week.

i am in iowa,,,, what kind of duck is that? its like a hen mallard on stilts...

black bellied tree duck or messican squealer.
They just started gettin common down here a few years ago.

back in fla would see a pair or three every now and then. i always wanted to mount one before i left. never got the chance to shoot one. now i guess i may never get one.
