 Just Found My New Best Friends I was just referred to a local shop that can deck heads and port and polish blind folded....my new best friends.

Re: Just Found My New Best Friends Met's engine in Lafayette says if the Vanguard head will sit flat on his machine he can deck it for me. He's done Harley stuff before, though no decking, just cylinder boring. You think I might be taking too much of a chance with this outfit. He said it'll cost $65 per head, or $130 to deck it, maybe a little more if is not aluminum cause he'll have to make more passes. Are these vanguard engine heads aluminum or cast iron?
